Israeli Military Expands Lebanon Security Zone
The Israeli military's 36th Division is expanding ground operations in southern Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah infrastructure and eliminating operatives.
Jerusalem, 25 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli military said that its forces “continue to deepen the damage to Hezbollah’s terrorist Infrastructure in southern Lebanon.”
The IDF’s (Israel Defense Forces) 36th “Ga’ash (Rage)” Division continue ground operations aimed at expanding the security area in Southern Lebanon.
The 7th Armored Brigade’s combat team forces destroyed a weapons depot. After the attack, a number of terrorists were identified who fled the depot and the Air Force eliminated the terrorists under the direction of the ground forces.
The Golani Infantry Brigade’s combat team forces destroyed Hezbollah headquarters, where numerous weapons were found that were used by the organization’s terrorists to promote and execute terrorist plots against IDF forces and the State of Israel.
They eliminated a terrorist armed with an RPG and a Kalashnikov, who approached the area where the forces were operating.
