Israeli Forces Thwart Attempt to Smuggle Ten Rifles Using a Drone

Israeli forces successfully intercepted a drone carrying ten rifles that crossed from Egypt into Israeli territory yesterday.

Jerusalem, 1 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) thwarted an attempt to smuggle weapons from the Sinai in Egypt yesterday, Tuesday.

Army lookouts identified a drone that crossed from the west into the territory of the State of Israel in an attempt to smuggle rifles.

Following the identification, IDF forces intercepted the drone, which was found with ten weapons.
