Jerusalem, 31 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that yesterday, Monday, during what it called a “focused ground operation” of the combat team fighters of its 226th (res.) Paratroopers Brigade, three fighters were wounded in moderate condition as a result of a strike by an unmanned aerial vehicle launched toward the force.
Within minutes and in a “swift closing of the circle”, the division’s forces, with the assistance of the 213th (res.) Artillery Brigade, eliminated the terrorists who launched the UAV toward Israeli Forces.
The wounded fighters were evacuated to receive medical treatment at a hospital, and their families were updated.
The IDF said it will “continue to act forcefully against the Hezbollah terrorist organization, which decided to join the campaign and operate under the auspices of the Iranian terrorist regime, and will not allow harm to the citizens of the State of Israel.”
