Israel Strikes Iran’s R&D Center for Submarines
Israel's Air Force has targeted Iran's only submarine research and development facility in a series of airstrikes, impacting the navy's capabilities.
Jerusalem, 25 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli Air Force completed several waves of airstrikes in Iran.
Among the targets was an underwater military equipment research and development center, the only such facility in Iran responsible for developing submarines for the Iranian Navy.
“The attack significantly limits the regime’s ability to produce new and advanced submarines for the Iranian Navy and upgrade the existing fleet,” the IDF said.
The IDF said it would announce details about other targets later.
