Israel Police seize weapons, arrest 3 in West Bank & East Jerusalem

Israel Police seized an M4 rifle, pistols, ammunition, and tens of thousands of NIS, arresting three suspects in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

In an operation carried out last night by detectives from the Crime Fighting Unit of the Gilboa District, along with Border Police fighters from Judea and Samaria, and under precise intelligence guidance, a search was conducted in a house in the Palestinian town of Al-Eizariya. The forces seized an M4 rifle, a large amount of ammunition, weapon parts, additional accessories, and tens of thousands of NIS. A resident of East Jerusalem (30) was arrested and transferred for investigation at the Ma’ale Adumim station. In another operation, detectives from the Ma’ale Adumim station and the Gilboa District Special Patrol Unit, along with Border Police fighters from the Jerusalem Envelope and a Border Police K9 handler, raided the Beit Hanina neighborhood in Jerusalem last night and conducted a search in a house. With the assistance of a police dog, two pistols and ammunition were seized. A local resident (24) was arrested and transferred for investigation at the Ma’ale Adumim station. Additionally, weapons and combat equipment were located and seized in the village of Rummanah in Samaria. In an operation and intelligence guidance from the Samaria District Crime Fighting Unit and the RO’EH unit in the Judea and Samaria District, IDF soldiers were directed to a house in the village where rifles, pistols, ammunition, and additional means were found. A Palestinian suspect was arrested and transferred for investigation at the Ariel station.
