Jerusalem, 24 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli airstrikes hit more than 50 targets across northern and central Iran overnight, focusing on sites used to launch and store ballistic missiles, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Tuesday.
The military said the latest wave also followed large-scale strikes a day earlier on infrastructure in Tehran, including several central headquarters. Among the targets were two facilities linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps’ intelligence arm and another belonging to Iran’s Intelligence Ministry. Weapons storage sites and air defense systems were also struck, in what Israel said was part of efforts to expand its air superiority.
Since the start of the campaign on February 28, Israel has struck more than 3,000 targets across Iran, including missile sites and strategic assets.
More than 4,800 people in Israel have been injured in Iranian missile barrages. Fifteen people in Israel have been killed, while another four Palestinians were killed in the Hebron area. One Israeli man in the Upper Galilee was killed by errant Israeli artillery fire on a Hezbollah position in Lebanon.
