Jerusalem, 9 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli soldiers killed a Hezbollah operative in the Ayta ash-Shaab area in southern Lebanon, the Israel Defense Forces said on Monday.
“Recently, the terrorist was engaged in gathering intelligence against IDF forces and worked to restore the organization’s infrastructure in southern Lebanon,” the IDF said.
