Jerusalem, 7 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — After conducting a situation assessment and as part of preparations for the expiration of the ultimatum, there may be an increase in firing towards Israel in the coming hours, a IDF Spokesperson announced tonight.
The IDF emphasizes that at this stage, citizens must stay alert, vigilant, act responsibly, and obey the Home Front Command’s instructions, which are updated periodically.
If there are changes in the situation assessment, the public will be updated accordingly, the spokesperson added.
