Jerusalem, 8 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli military said it carried out its largest strike against Hezbollah targets across Lebanon since the start of Operation “Roaring Lion” hitting about 100 command centers and military sites within 10 minutes.
According to the statement, the strikes were conducted simultaneously in Beirut, the Bekaa Valley, and Southern Lebanon. The military said the targets included intelligence command centers, command-and-control positions, artillery and naval facilities, and sites belonging to Hezbollah’s Radwan Force and Unit 127.
The IDF said the operation was based on precise intelligence and had been planned for weeks by the Operations Directorate, the Intelligence Directorate, the Air Force, and Northern Command, with the goal of further weakening Hezbollah’s capabilities.
The military added that many of the targeted sites were located in populated areas, accusing Hezbollah of using civilians as human shields. It said measures were taken to minimize civilian harm and that operations against the group would continue.
