41 People Across Israel Injured on Sunday in Missile/Rocket Attacks

41 people across Israel received medical treatment Sunday from Magen David Adom, with seven injured by rocket and missile shrapnel during ongoing Operation.

Jerusalem, 8 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Magen David Adom (MDA) reported that as of 8:30 PM, on Sunday, March 8, its teams provided medical treatment to 41 people across the country, including, seven who were injured by the shards of intercepted rockets and missiles. Of the seven, one was seriously injured, one moderately and five were slightly injured.

The rest, 34 people, were injured on their way to a protected area or suffered from anxiety.

Since the beginning of Operation “Roaring Lion” against Iran, MDA teams provided medical treatment to 687 wounded people, including 147 from missile fire. Of these, 10 were killed, three were severely wounded, seven moderately and 127 were lightly injured.

456 of the people were injured on the way to a protected area, eight were injured in traffic accidents when they stopped on the side of the road during an alarm and 76 suffered from anxiety attacks.
