10 Hamas Cell Members Indicted for Attacks, Kidnapping Plot

The cell carried out several explosive attacks against IDF forces and planned to carry out additional severe attacks, including a kidnapping attack against a Jewish resident of the area. During the investigation, information was received that the cell members had carried out a series of attacks, including explosive attacks that were detonated against IDF forces in March and April 2025, in which three IDF soldiers were injured, two of them seriously. The investigation revealed that the cell members participated in several shooting attacks and prepared to carry out additional significant suicide attacks. In addition, one of the cell members dug a tunnel approximately 6 meters deep behind his home, with the aim of holding hostages there. The cell members conducted observations of a resident of the area, whom they planned to kidnap. The kidnapping was not carried out because they realized they would have difficulty carrying out this attack. A large amount of weapons was seized from the cell, including an M16 rifle, explosives, and remotely detonated charges. Upon completion of the investigation, and after a evidentiary basis for their actions was established, indictments were filed with the Shomron Military Court against ten members of the cell, some of whom were charged with attempted murder with intent, shooting at a person, and attempted kidnapping.
