Israel launches Ron Arad mission; no findings
Israel's PM vows continued commitment to finding navigator Ron Arad after special operation yields no findings.
Our heroic fighters launched a special operation tonight to locate and return navigator Ron Arad, who was captured in Lebanon about 40 years ago. For many long years, we have been tirelessly engaged in this mission. The operation carried out tonight did not yield the findings we were looking for, but the commitment of the State of Israel and my commitment to completing all missions for our prisoners and missing persons is absolute and constant. So it was, and so it will be.
