Teva recalls more Nutrilion batches

Teva Israel expands voluntary recall of Nutrilon baby formula batches (Stage 1 & AR) due to potential Cereulide toxin concerns, Ministry of Health confirms.

The Ministry of Health announces that following regulatory review and in accordance with an update from the manufacturer in Europe, and in coordination with the importer Teva Israel Ltd., it has been decided to expand the voluntary recall of certain batches of the following products:
Nutrilon Stage 1 (400 and 800 grams) and Nutrilon AR (400 and 900 grams).

The recall is being carried out as a precautionary measure, after the manufacturer updated that some products used fatty acid of the ARA type supplied by a specific supplier, which was identified as a possible source of deviation in Cereulide toxin levels.

It should be clarified that other Nutrilon products marketed in Israel do not use fatty acid from the same supplier.

Although the manufacturer’s initial recommendation referred to only a few specific batches, the Ministry of Health has instructed to expand the collection to all batches containing fatty acid from the said supplier, as a precautionary measure.

The public is requested not to consume products from the batches detailed below:
