PIBA has extended the timeframe during which Israelis may exit and enter Israel with their valid foreign passport until 30 September 2026

Israelis can use foreign passports to enter and exit Israel until September 30, 2026. PIBA requires travelers to present their Israeli passport or ETA approval.

The Population and Immigration Authority (PIBA) has announced that Israeli citizens holding a valid foreign passport may continue to enter and exit Israel using their foreign passport until 30 September 2026.

Israeli citizens who travel abroad using a foreign passport will be required, when checking in for their flight back to Israel with that foreign passport, to present their Israeli passport (even if expired) or, alternatively, an ETA approval.
