“Lion’s Roar” Compensation Fund Activity for Damage Treatment: Update and Claims Quantity 03.04.26
The Compensation Fund has deployed 75 teams across Israel to assess damage, receiving nearly 5,000 claims for properties, contents, and vehicles since the war.
Teams from the Compensation Fund – Property Tax, accompanied by engineers and appraisers, have been present in various arenas since the start of the war, providing assistance to citizens whose homes and property have been damaged, in cooperation with local authority representatives operating in the field.
As of this morning (03.04.26), 75 Compensation Fund teams are operating throughout the country. 29 of the teams are in the Central region, 40 teams are in the Beit Shemesh and Be’er Sheva area, and another 6 teams are in the Northern region.
To date, 4,995 claims have been received by the Compensation Fund centers since the start of the war, of which 3,960 are for structural damage, 564 for damage to contents and equipment, and 471 for vehicle damage.
The following is the breakdown of claims by center:
We remind you that this week the option to submit a claim via the fast track for structural and content damage not exceeding ₪30,000 was opened. Under this track, a claim can be approved without waiting for an appraiser, up to 7 days from the completion of the claim with all its details. To date, 10 claims have been submitted through this track.
Due to the large number of claims, there may be a delay in the arrival of appraisers. The Compensation Fund recommends that those affected use the fast track if possible. If not possible, it is recommended to contact professionals to obtain price quotes even before the appraiser arrives, in order to expedite the handling of the claim.
Citizens whose homes or property have been damaged by missile fire can contact and report the damage to the Tax Authority hotline at *4954 or submit an online claim on the Tax Authority website.
