Jerusalem, 16 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s National Infrastructure Committee approved the Ministry of Transportation’s plan to establish seven new integrated public bus transportation centers across the country.

The “Hubs” plan will also establish 650 integrated transportation centers (ITCs) that will enable the expansion of public transportation service, while improving conditions for drivers and preparing for the transition to electric buses.

Within this framework, the Ministry of Transportation is promoting the construction of hundreds of terminals, overnight parking lots, and operational facilities, which will enable the expansion of public transportation service, improving the reliability of the lines and service conditions for passengers, alongside creating advanced working conditions for bus drivers and preparing for the transition to electric buses with clean, quiet, green, and economical propulsion.
