Housing Rights Event Held
Ministry of Construction and Housing holds vital housing rights conference in Arab communities, offering rent aid and disability adaptation information.
The conference, the first in a series of conferences planned in arab communities, was designed to provide residents with essential information on key topics such as rent assistance, eligibility certificate issuance, and housing adaptations for People with Disabilities.
This activity is part of a broad policy by the Ministry to expand access to government services and reduce information gaps.
During the conference, the Ministry’s activity in the district was presented, and the importance of cooperation with local authorities was emphasized. The content was made accessible to participants in Arabic, to ensure full understanding of rights and procedures. At the end of the presentation, an open dialogue was held, during which Ministry representatives answered residents’ questions and provided professional and focused responses.
Representatives from the Ministry of Construction and Housing participated in the conference, including Ms. Smadar Kadosh Shetaf, Director of the Northern District Occupancy Department, Mr. Mu’id Salameh from the Ministry’s Minorities Division, and a representative from the Alonim registration company, who provided individual assistance to residents, registered personal inquiries, and explained the registration and rights realization processes.
