Autonomous Launch Systems, AI-Powered Video Analysis, and Cyber Defense Platforms: Israel Showcases Cutting-Edge Defense Technologies at DSEI Japan 2025

The International Defense Cooperation Directorate (SIBAT) and the Directorate of Defense Research and Development (MAFAT) at the Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD), in collaboration with the Israeli Defense Attaché Office in Japan, lead a delegation of 20 Israeli defense companies exhibiting their innovations at DSEI Japan 2025, that took place at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba, Japan.
As part of the delegation, seven leading defense companies exhibited under the official Israeli pavilion, organized by SIBAT. These companies demonstrated a wide range of advanced, operationally proven technologies across five main categories: Security & Protection, Weapons Systems, Unmanned & Autonomous Platforms, Electronic Equipment & Hardware, and C4ISR & Communications.

In addition, Israel’s presence at the exhibition was further highlighted by a dedicated DDR&D pavilion, showcasing eight cutting-edge startups. These companies represent Israel’s dynamic and innovative defense technology ecosystem, reflecting the country’s ongoing commitment to advancing next-generation capabilities for the modern battlefield.

The Israeli booths have attracted considerable attention from official delegations, defense industry professionals, and security experts. DSEI Japan served as a vital platform for professional dialogue, international cooperation, and strategic networking—further strengthening Israel’s defense relationships in the region and beyond.

Brig. Gen. (Res.) Yair Kulas, Head of SIBAT and Head of the Delegation: “Israel’s strong presence at DSEI Japan 2025 reflected the growing global interest in Israeli defense technologies. Our participation underscored the adaptability and operational effectiveness of Israeli solutions across diverse combat environments. Through international platforms like DSEI, we continue to showcase Israel’s innovative capabilities and build meaningful partnerships that benefit the broader defense industry. The IMOD remains committed to expanding international collaboration and promoting Israel’s defense sector on every global stage.”
