Jerusalem, 22 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) eliminated two senior Hamas terrorists in Gaza.
The first, Ahmed Munir Khalil Zaza, the engineering chief of the Western Jabalia Battalion in the Gaza City area, was killed at the end of the weekend in northern Gaza. The terrorist operated to produce and distribute weaponry among Hamas platoons and served as the person responsible for building explosives and booby-trapped houses.
In recent times, Zaza attempted to plant explosives near the yellow line, with the aim of harming IDF Forces operating in the area.
In an additional strike in northern Gaza, the IDF eliminated the terrorist Hasin Safdi, commander of the sniping array in Gaza City.
Safdi was responsible throughout the war for all sniping outlines against Israeli Forces in the Gaza City area.
In the recent period, said the IDF, Safdi “systematically violated” the ceasefire agreement, and attempted to operate to train terrorists and promote additional sniping outlines against IDF forces.
