On 01/18/26, a change of command ceremony was held at the Rimmonim-Ofek Prison, in the presence of the Commissioner of Prisons, Major General Kobi Yaacobi, and with the participation of senior command staff and local staff.
As part of the ceremony, the commander of Rimmonim-Ofek Prison, Brigadier General Rami Kasantini, took office, replacing the outgoing commander, Brigadier General Hagai David.
The incoming commander noted that he would work to continue implementing the policy of incarceration, to strengthen the Security of staff and prisoners, and to integrate Rehabilitation processes as part of ongoing operational activity.
