Participants were exposed to the history of the residence, the symbols of the state, and the fascinating stories that have shaped Israeli society for decades. The tour was not just a history lesson, but a connection to the values of mission and national responsibility that accompany the Authority’s daily work.
After the tour, participants enjoyed a captivating lecture on “The Presidential Leadership of President Isaac Herzog.” The lecture dealt with the President’s worldview as a unifying force, seeking to build bridges between different parts of society. For the framework managers and supervisors, the encounter with such a leadership concept echoed their educational and therapeutic work, which also requires high sensitivity, inclusion, and the ability to lead deep change processes among youth in extreme situations.
Justice, Compassion, and Rehabilitation: The Meeting with the Pardons Department
A central and professional part of this day was the conversation with Adv. Michal Zuck, Director of the Pardons Department. In an open and in-depth discussion, participants discussed the sensitive interfaces between treatment and rehabilitation processes and the institution of pardons. Adv.
