The elimination of regime commanders in Tehran continues: The IDF eliminated the commander of the special operations unit of the Quds Force (840). The Air Force, with precise intelligence from AMAN, attacked in Tehran last night.

The unit under his command advanced operations to harm IDF forces operating in the buffer zone in Syria using Syrian operatives who previously served in Assad’s army. Bakri and his deputy, Muhammad Reza Ansari, personally led this activity. Furthermore, Bakri began directing attempts to smuggle military weapons from Iran into the territory of Israel. His elimination joins the deep blow that the IDF inflicted on the special operations unit of ‘Quds Force’, and constitutes a further blow to the unit’s capabilities to carry out terrorist operations against the State of Israel and its citizens.
