Over the past week, approximately 70 terror targets were attacked in cooperation with the Air Force, and more than 30 terrorists were eliminated. In one of the operations, forces identified a terrorist yesterday (Saturday) who approached the forces in a manner that posed an immediate threat. Shortly after the identification, the Air Force, guided by the forces, eliminated the terrorist and removed the threat. Additionally, a short while ago, the Air Force intercepted several rockets that were identified in the area where IDF forces are operating in southern Lebanon. According to policy, no alerts were activated. The IDF will continue to operate against threats to the citizens of the State of Israel and IDF forces, and is acting in accordance with the directives of the political echelon.
