In a close-quarters engagement: Nahal Brigade reconnaissance unit fighters eliminated a Hezbollah terrorist in southern Lebanon. This morning (Thursday), Nahal Brigade reconnaissance unit fighters eliminated a terrorist from the Hezbollah terror organization in a close-quarters engagement during a targeted ground operation in southern Lebanon. Subsequently, the forces searched the area and located numerous weapons, including: rifles, vests, grenades, and additional combat equipment. Two fighters were lightly injured during the operation and were evacuated to receive medical treatment at a hospital; their families have been updated. The IDF will continue to operate forcefully against the Hezbollah terror organization, which has decided to join the campaign and operate under the auspices of the Iranian terror regime, and will not allow harm to the citizens of the State of Israel.
