Air Force refueling aircraft have conducted 550 refuelings, transferring 5 million pounds of fuel in Iranian airspace during Operation 'Lion's Roar'.

Since the beginning of Operation ‘Lion’s Roar’, hundreds of Air Force fighter jets have been operating in Iranian airspace, attacking targets of the Iranian terror regime.

Air Force refueling aircraft are supporting the fighter jet operations and have performed approximately 550 aerial refuelings, during which about five million pounds of fuel were transferred. This volume constitutes more than 50% of the total refuelings performed in all of Operation ‘With the Lion’.

Aerial refueling is a necessary component of Air Force operations in Iran, enabling the preservation of air superiority in the area over time.
