Infant Dies at Assuta Ashdod Hospital on Friday
An infant has died at Assuta Ashdod Hospital after consuming recalled Nutrilon formula batches. A clinical link is ruled out, but further tests are underway by.
According to the report, the infant who died had consumed Nutrilon products from batches that were recalled. At this stage, a clinical link between the Nutrilon products and the death has been ruled out by both the treating medical team and the preliminary findings of the National Institute of Forensic Medicine. However, to thoroughly examine the issue, additional tests will be conducted, and the external review committee will also review this matter. The committee’s composition will reflect the expertise needed for this purpose.
The Ministry of Health extends its condolences to the family and will continue to act with full transparency and diligence to clarify the circumstances of the case. The Ministry will update the public on the review’s findings and conclusions.
