Jerusalem, 10 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli prosecutors filed an indictment against Moshe Lachovitz, a 21-year-old Jerusalem Resident, accusing him of contacting a foreign agent and gathering intelligence on behalf of Iran.

The State Prosecutor’s Office asked the court to keep Lachovitz in custody until the end of legal proceedings.
According to the indictment, Lachovitz made contact with a man identifying himself as “Michael” while looking for work.

Prosecutors said “Michael” instructed Lachovitz to carry out a series of missions, including collecting intelligence and photographing locations in Jerusalem and Ra’anana.
