Ministry Reports Food Supplies Continue to Be Stable
Israel's Ministry of Agriculture reports stable food supplies during the war with Iran, with agricultural produce, slaughterhouses, and egg collection operating.
Jerusalem, 5 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security reported that the supply of agricultural produce to the public continues as usual during the war with Iran.
Israeli farmers continue to work in the field to ensure the public has shelves full of fresh agricultural produce, it said, adding that slaughterhouses and egg collection operations continue as usual. Also, land crossings with Jordan have been opened for the entry of goods and maritime imports are taking place as usual and export and air import activity is also beginning on a small scale.
