Jerusalem, 3 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — In the fourth quarter of 2025, the Number of job vacancies in Israel increased to an average of 148,800 jobs per month (compared to an average of 147,200 jobs per month in the Third Quarter of 2025). This is according to the data released by Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics.
The supply-demand ratio (the ratio of those seeking work to the number of vacancies) fell to 1.9 (compared to 2.0 in the previous quarter).
The supply-to-demand ratio among well-known artisans fell to 1.5 (compared to 1.6 in the previous quarter).
The supply-demand ratio was 0.5 or lower (meaning there were two or more vacancies for every job seeker) among other sales workers and among kitchen assistants.
The supply-demand ratio was 3 or higher (meaning there were three or more job seekers for every vacant position) among production managers and managers in the professional services sector, those with related occupations in business and administration, and among administrative secretaries and secretaries in specialized fields.
In 2025, the number of job vacancies increased to an average of 144,600 jobs per month (compared to an average of 136,900 jobs per month in 2024).
