Israel’s Tourism Ministry Confirms 2,500 Entries, 16,000 Exits Since Outbreak of War
Since the war with Iran began, Israel's Tourism Ministry confirms 2,500 tourist entries and 16,000 exits, with 21,500 currently in the country.
Jerusalem, 10 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Since the outbreak of war with Iran, roughly 16,000 tourists have left Israel while 2,500 arrived, according to Israel’s Tourism Ministry. The ministry adds that around 21,500 are currently in Israel.
A dedicated transport service to the Taba border crossing with Egypt has been closed as outbound flights resumed on a limited basis.
