150,000 Tons of Flour Enter Gaza Since Start of Ceasefire

Since Gaza's ceasefire began, 150,000 tons of flour have entered, providing an estimated 9.4 million pitas daily.

Jerusalem, 3 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli agency COGAT (Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories: Judea and Samaria and towards the Gaza Strip) reported that, since the start of the ceasefire in Gaxza, approximately 150,000 tons of flour have entered Gaza, averaging 22,000 tons per month.

To put that into perspective, said COGAT, this volume is enough for 9.4 million pitas daily.

That’s between 4- 5 pitas per person, every single day.
