Jerusalem police thwarted a stolen vehicle's smuggling into Judea and Samaria and arrested a suspect with no driver's license.

During an initiative operation by Jerusalem District police officers at the Hizme Square checkpoint, officers noticed a suspicious vehicle traveling on Highway 437. The officers acted quickly to stop the vehicle, and after a short pursuit near the village of Hizme, the suspect was arrested while driving a stolen vehicle. The suspect, a 35-year-old resident of the Ras Khamis neighborhood, was transferred for investigation at the Shefa police station. His investigation revealed that the suspect had never obtained a driver’s license. His arrest was extended.
