Breaking Update

The fight against road accidents in the Judea and Samaria District in an enforcement operation by police officers from the Gilad precinct, 200 traffic tickets were issued and measures were taken against drivers whose driving endangered road users.

Israel Police issued 200 tickets and arrested suspended & unlicensed drivers in Judea and Samaria, removing unsafe vehicles from roads.

Crime

In addition, significant enforcement was carried out against drivers with suspended licenses and unlicensed drivers. During the operation, two drivers with suspended licenses were apprehended, and traffic prosecution proceedings were initiated against them, and they were imprisoned. Furthermore, a Palestinian driver who had never obtained a driver’s license was apprehended, along with a tow truck carrying four vehicles prohibited for use – ‘mishthaboth’ (illegal vehicles). The tow truck was administratively disabled for 90 days. In another operation in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, dozens of vehicles were inspected, and out of them, 8 vehicles were removed from the road due to safety deficiencies that pose a risk.
