Tayibe: Sheep theft suspect kidnapped at gunpoint, then rescued by police; two suspects arrested.

According to the suspicion, one tried to steal sheep and the other threatened him with a handgun and kidnapped him. In the early morning hours, a report was received from a citizen who noticed several suspects kidnapping a person in the city of Tayibe. Border Police fighters from the Central District’s Settlements Division, along with Central District police officers, began operating to locate the vehicle and the suspects. During the operation, the forces located an Isuzu pickup truck in the area of the agricultural bridge in the city. Upon inspection, a wounded and injured person was found in the trunk who, according to the suspicion, was previously caught by a sheep pen owner and threatened with a handgun after trying to steal sheep from the location. The suspect who threatened him tried to escape from the scene and was arrested after a short foot pursuit. During searches conducted by the forces in the area, the handgun that allegedly was used by the suspect during the incident was also located. Both suspects were arrested and transferred for further investigation at the Tayibe station.
