Police officers from the Judea and Samaria District located a horse near Yatta that was stolen from a farm in southern Hebron and returned it to its owner. Yesterday, a report was received regarding the disappearance of a horse from the Ma’on farm in southern Hebron.

Israel Police recovered a stolen horse near Yatta and returned it to its owner, detaining a 52-year-old Palestinian suspect.

A swift intelligence operation by the Hebron station commander led patrol officers from the Meitarim post, along with IDF soldiers, to a populated area near Yatta. During searches of the area and in-depth questioning based on the information the officers possessed, a local Palestinian (52) was located. He led the officers to the rear of a structure, where the mare was found tied up. The suspect was detained by the officers and transferred for investigation at the Hebron station on suspicion of theft. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
