Authorities in northern Israel have arrested 38 individuals suspected of involvement in arms and drug trafficking following a lengthy undercover investigation.
Jerusalem, 12 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Following a year-long undercover operation, Police officers arrested 38 suspects across Northern Israel on suspicion of arms trafficking and drug offenses on Tuesday morning.
Police and counterterror units took part in coordinated raids in Nazareth, Shfaram, Kfar Qana and other communities. The suspects are expected to appear at the Nazareth Magistrate’s Court for detention hearings.
