Numerous Weapons Seized in Bedouin Town, Arrest Made
Israel Police seized weapons and equipment in Tel Sheva, arresting a suspect in his 20s during a proactive operation Sunday night.
Jerusalem, 16 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — During what the Israel Police called a “proactive operation” conducted last night (Sunday), a search was conducted in the Tel Sheva community, during which weapons and related equipment were located and seized and a suspect – in his 20s from the town – was arrested. Tel Sheva is a Bedouin town north of Be’er Sheva called Tel as-Sabi in Arabic.
Among the items seized:
An airsoft pistol.
Six M16-style airsoft cartridges.
An M16-type weapon cartridge.
Four grips for an M16 weapon.
A gas cylinder intended for use in airsoft weapons.
