Nine Arrested for Stone-Throwing at Soldiers and Civilians Alike
Nine arrested in Judea and Samaria for stone-throwing at soldiers and civilians over the past month, with one soldier hospitalized after being hit by a rock.
Jerusalem, 19 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Overnight, nine people, aged 13–21, were arrested on suspicion of being involved in incidents of stone-throwing at civilians and security forces on major roads in Judea and Samaria over the past month. They were arrested during a joint operational activity by Ariel Station police, Judea and Samaria Border Guard soldiers and Samaria Border Guard police, in the village of Qusra near Nablus (Shechem), said the Israel Police.
In one of the stone-throwing cases, a soldier was hit in the head by a stone and was taken to the hospital for medical treatment, and in other cases, damage was caused to vehicles traveling on the roads of Judea and Samaria.
