Lod: 2 Arrested in Murder Probe; Weapon Found
Lod police arrested two suspects in a murder probe, extending their detention and recovering the murder weapon and evidence.
As part of the investigation, the unit succeeded in uncovering the identities of two suspects involved in the murder. The two were located and arrested last night, and the court agreed to the police’s request to extend their detention. Additionally, as part of an investigation opened on 12.2.26 following a shooting incident in which a resident of Lod in his 60s was murdered, a suspect in the act was arrested last night (Lod, 18) at the conclusion of an investigation by the Special Unit for Combating Crime in the Shfela region, together with Lod station officers and Border Police fighters. Furthermore, the weapon used in the shooting was located, as well as additional evidence linking this suspect to the murder.
