Investigation into the circumstances of a vehicle explosion incident on Highway 20 near the Holon Interchange – As a result of the explosion, a woman present in the vehicle was pronounced dead.

Initial investigation indicates that the explosion occurred from an explosive device on a criminal background. Large police forces from the Tel Aviv District, including forensic investigators and police sappers, worked to isolate the scene and remove suspicion of further risk, alongside collecting evidence to clarify the circumstances of the incident. The Commander of the Tel Aviv District, Superintendent Haim Sagron, held a situation assessment with the Commander of the Ayalon Region, Superintendent Daniel Hadad, and all commanders at the scene, during which the investigation was assigned to the Tel Aviv Central Unit.
