On 13.01, a number of suspects, residents of Hura, arrived to carry out an armed robbery at a jewelry store in Dahariya. To execute the plan, they were equipped in advance with an M16 rifle, a pistol, magazines and ammunition, airsoft weapons resembling firearms, as well as full tactical uniforms including helmets, vests, and face masks. The investigation also revealed that several vehicles were used, one of which bore fake license plates.
During the robbery, they aimed their weapons at the employees, handcuffed them, covered their eyes, and violently assaulted them. As a result, they caused their injuries. The store was robbed of jewelry weighing approximately 4 kg of gold, and cash in the amount of over 100,000 NIS.
It was also revealed that while fleeing the scene, the defendants abducted one of the victims into their vehicle. Subsequently, they opened fire at a vehicle pursuing them, posing a real danger to human life and causing heavy damage to the vehicle. Some of the defendants were arrested at the end of a pursuit by officers from the Hebron station and IDF border police fighters, and the rest were arrested as part of an investigation in cooperation with the Gideonim unit of Lahav 433 and the Mamatash unit (Police Mechanism for Coordination and Cooperation) in the Judea and Samaria district, which led to their extradition.
Upon completion of this investigation and after an evidentiary foundation was established, an indictment was filed against the six suspects.
