Jerusalem, 14 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Police arrested eight suspects on Tuesday in connection with the murder of Wael Saeida, in the northern Bedouin town Umm al-Ghanem. An investigation revealed the suspicion that the victim was not the intended target, and that he was hit by a stray bullet.
Wael Saeida was killed when he went to a bakery after breaking the Ramadan fast and it was there he was hit by the stray bullet.
The incident was the result of a conflict that began at a school.
