Upon the forces’ arrival at the scene, initial investigation revealed that the scene had been disturbed, washed, and evidence had been removed. The Commander of the Coastal District arrived at the scene and conducted a situation assessment, at the conclusion of which he assigned the investigation to the Coastal District Major Crimes Unit. Upon completion of the investigation, the unit succeeded in establishing an evidentiary foundation, and yesterday a statement of claim was filed against three suspects: a 42-year-old resident of Umm al-Fahm, a 23-year-old resident of the Bedouin diaspora, and a minor resident of the area. The arrest of the suspects has been extended, and an indictment is expected to be filed against them later.
