Israel Police arrested two rioters after a demonstration on Highway 4 near Bnei Brak blocked traffic and endangered lives; all routes are now open.

Order disturbers blocked the roads, clashed with police officers, sat on the road, endangered their lives, and blocked vehicles and road users with their bodies. Police officers declared the demonstration illegal before deploying force and mounted police. Despite the warnings, the demonstrators did not obey instructions and continued with the public order disturbances and road blockages. The forces were forced to use force and mounted police to extricate vehicles that were caught in the demonstration, during which the order disturbers threw stones and objects at the police forces. As a result, a private vehicle’s windshield was shattered and a police officer was lightly injured. During the incident, two order disturbers were arrested.
