Jerusalem, 28 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Construction and Housing concluded the submission phase of the call for applications for foreign construction companies for residential construction in Israel, with a broad and high-quality response from approximately 20 international construction companies, from a variety of countries in Europe, Asia, and other regions.

For the first time, proposals were also submitted from leading Western companies, alongside large companies with significant experience in residential construction, high-rise construction, and advanced technologies.

Among the countries from which proposals were submitted: Taiwan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, England, South Korea, Moldova, Vietnam, Argentina, India and Romania.

“The successful response to submissions to the call for papers is measured by the variety of countries, the profile of the companies, and the quality of the experience presented,” said the Ministry.

“These proposals reflect the international construction market’s continued confidence in the construction industry in Israel and in the policy led by the Ministry of Construction and Housing to maintain functional continuity, increase housing supply, and ensure stability in the industry even during times of uncertainty,” it added.
