Israel’s Int’l Arbitration List
Israel has selected Prof. Noam Zamir, Ms. Samantha Nataf, and others for ICSID's international arbitration and conciliation lists, strengthening its dispute.
ICSID is an international institution for the settlement of investment disputes operating within the framework of the World Bank Group. The institution was established by an international convention that entered into force in 1966, and the State of Israel has been a member since 1983. Within ICSID, international proceedings are conducted for the settlement of legal disputes between foreign investors and states, often by virtue of mechanisms enshrined in international investment protection agreements.
The selection for the lists was made by the Chief Economist and the Deputy Attorney General (International Law), after receiving the recommendation of a joint professional committee of the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Finance.
