Israeli, Indian Defense Firms Meet to Boost Joint Initiatives
Israeli and Indian defense firms met to strengthen cooperation, signing an MOU to expand joint initiatives and future collaborations ahead of PM Modi's visit.
Jerusalem, 18 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Defense Ministry held a strategic seminar this week to strengthen defense-industrial cooperation with India ahead of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s expected visit next week. The event, organized by the ministry’s Defense Export Division, SIVAT, in cooperation with the Society of Indian Defense Manufacturers and India’s Ministry of Defense, included B2B meetings and discussions on India’s new Defense Acquisition Policy 2026.
During the seminar, SIVAT and SIDM signed a memorandum of understanding to expand joint initiatives and future collaborations. Representatives from 26 Israeli and 30 Indian defense companies attended.
