Jerusalem, 6 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel and Greece signed a 650 million euro ($704 million) defense agreement on Monday for the sale of PULS rocket artillery systems to the Greek army, in one of the largest Israeli arms export deals announced since the war with Iran began.
The deal, signed in Athens by officials from the two countries’ defense ministries, is valued at about 2.3 billion shekels. Elbit Systems will act as the prime contractor and supply PULS launchers along with a broad package of munitions, including guided rockets with varying ranges.
Israel’s Defense Ministry said the agreement will be carried out over four years, followed by a 10-year support and maintenance period. The package also includes industrial cooperation, with some components of the system set to be produced by Greek defense industries.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said the agreement reflected deepening strategic and Defense ties between Israel and Greece and highlighted sustained international demand for Israeli military systems despite the war.
Defense Ministry Director General Amir Baram said the signing demonstrated Israel’s technological strength and its ability to support allies while maintaining wartime production for its own military.
Elbit said Greece joins a growing list of NATO countries that have selected the PULS system for modern artillery needs.
