Consumer Confidence Index Down in December 2025
Israel's consumer confidence index plummeted to -18% in December 2025, indicating significant pessimism. The index ranges from -100 to +100.
Jerusalem, 15 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported that in December 2025 the consumer confidence index stood at -18%.
There was no significant change in the four balance sheets that make up the index.
The relative consumer confidence index stands at 82.
The consumer confidence index ranges from minus 100 to plus 100. The closer the index value is to the upper limit, the greater optimism among individuals, and the closer the index value is to the lower limit, the greater pessimism.
