Warning Issued to Yemen’s Main Airport to Evacuate
A warning to evacuate the main airport in Yemen has been issued by a senior Israel Defense Forces Commander.
Jerusalem, 6 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — A warning to evacuate the main airport in Yemen has been issued by a senior Israel Defense Forces Commander.
Avichay Adraee, Head of the Arab media division wrote on social media platform X in Arabic: “Urgent warning to all those present in the Sana’a International Airport area, as shown in the attached map.
“We call upon you to evacuate the airport area – Sana’a International Airport – immediately and warn everyone in your vicinity of the need to evacuate this area immediately.
“Failure to evacuate and move away from the place exposes you to danger.”
The warning comes two days after a missile from Yemen fired at Israel landed at Ben Gurion airport, causing extensive damage and eight injuries.
The terrorist rebel group the Houthis, who are based in Yemen and funded by Iran, has regularly launched ballistic missiles at Israel over the past several months.
Yesterday, Israel bombed parts of the Houthi infrastructure in Yemen, in the first major retaliation.
